A venue claim requires a public business or verification link. After review, an authorized host can correct venue details and make operational decisions about schedules. The role exists to improve accuracy, not to turn community history into private marketing copy.
Maintain the information visitors need
A strong venue record includes the entrance address, useful landmark, valid coordinates, and a map link. Each showtime should have a date, time, screen or hall when relevant, and a genuine HTTP or HTTPS booking source.
- Confirm schedules that the venue has checked.
- Cancel changed performances instead of silently deleting context.
- Renew only schedules that remain current.
- Review correction reports from people who visited the location.
Good provenance builds long-term trust
Shows displays whether a schedule is host confirmed, community confirmed, or newly submitted. That transparency helps visitors decide and gives responsible venues a visible record of maintenance. Ratings remain separate so operational accuracy cannot be replaced by popularity.
