Shows is a discovery directory, not the ticket seller

A listing may link to a venue, organizer, or external booking service. Payment, refunds, seat allocation, and ticket delivery are governed by that provider. Read its terms and confirm the final venue, date, time, quantity, and price before paying.

Inspect the destination before entering payment details

Prefer HTTPS links on a domain you recognize or can verify through the venue. Be cautious when a page changes domains unexpectedly, asks for a transfer to an unrelated personal account, creates artificial urgency, or requests a password or verification code.

Open the venue details and directions separately. A plausible event poster does not prove that a payment link belongs to the venue or organizer.

  • Check the browser address after every redirect.
  • Confirm cancellation and refund terms.
  • Keep the provider receipt and transaction reference.
  • Contact the seller, not Shows, for payment disputes.

Report misleading links

If a listing points to an unrelated, expired, or suspicious destination, do not continue to payment. Report the affected listing with the destination URL and a short explanation so the source can be reviewed.
